A couple of weeks ago I got up early after the rains (more rain!) and wanted to catch one of the seasonal waterfalls in the Los Angeles area. We settled for Eaton Canyon in Altadena and I grabbed my camera bag and went. At first I had every intention of just hiking to the falls and taking photos then, but along the way I decided to try out my Sony macro 90mm 2.8 lens and I’m glad I did. There was a slight dew on everything that made the leaves vibrant. Strangely enough, most of the plants I ended up spending the most time with were poison as they usually had some bright component to them. Here’s a few of the images I was able to grab.
